Priyanka Chopra’s father battling with cancer

Priyanka Chopra’s father has been unwell and hospitalized since a while now. Unfortunately he has been diagnosed of cancer. This has come as a catastrophe to Priyanka who is shattered by the news. While everything was going perfectly fine in her ascending film career, life has taken a complete 360-degree turn for the actress. Priyanka has been very close to her father who always used to guide her in her professional decisions.
The actress has presently taken a short break from her film assignments as she can hardly concentrate on work. Her shooting schedules have gone haywire. But the actress has not lost hope and faith in god. She plans to take her father to US during her foreign shows tours in mid-September for advanced treatment.
