Akshay on Border

Hordes of celebrities have made friendly visits to borders, now its Akshay Kumar's turn to be featured in Jai Jawan on NDTV.
The actor went to the Firozpur border in Punjab on July 9 and spent a day and a half with the jawans.
Akshay was so excited with the prospect of meeting the soldiers that he did not mind a few glitches here and there for reaching the destination, informs a production personnel on the show.
Once there, Akki had a blast playing volleyball and tug of war, firing guns, teaching Kung Fu to the soldiers. He was touched along with the soldiers, when the messages sent by their relatives were aired for them in the evening.
Akshay has fond memories of the experience and says he enjoyed every bit of the visit.
The show will be aired on August 13, 14 and 15 on NDTV India and NDTV 24X7.
