A sequel to Sarkar

Here’s an addition to the list of sequels being planned in Bollywood. And this might perhaps top the list of all upcoming sequels. The brainchild behind it is none other than the maverick man Ram Gopal Varma. So after announcing a remake of Sholay, Varma is now planning a sequel to his latest masterpiece Sarkar that is still fascinating audiences at the cinema-halls. Ramu is so impressed with the father-son duo of Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan that he says the sequel in a way is his excuse to work with the Bachchans again.
So while Sarkar was an adaptation of Godfather, will the sequel to be inspired from Godfather 2? This is something that only time will tell.
Seems like Varma is completely smitten by Big B’s charisma. After Sarkar, he has already completed Darna Zaroori Hai with Bachchan and is planning the Sholay remake and Sarkar sequel with him. But the Sarkar sequel will only follow the Sholay remake.
