"Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Award 2021" was organized by Chand Sultana of Bharat Nirman Foundation Charitable Trust at Iskcon Auditorium, Mumbai. The Chief Guest was Dr. (Professor) Kirit Solannki (M P, Lok Sabha).
Salma Agha, Udit Narayan, Anu Malik, Deepshikha Nagpal, Madhushree, Niharica Raizada, Sunil Pal, Dr. Bharati Lavekar (MLA), Ekta Jain, Kailash Masoom, Ekaansh Bhaardwaaj were honored with this prestigious award.
Anu Malik said that Kirit Solanki ji told me that you have given patriotic music in many films including Border.
Actress Niharica Raizada said that it is a matter of pride for me to get the award in the name of APJ Abdul Kalam.
Sunil Pal said that getting the award named after APJ Abdul Kalam is a big deal.
Udit Narayan thanked Chand Sultana of Bharat Nirman Foundation Charitable Trust for honoring him.
Vyjayanthi Mala Kamble, a social worker from Palghar who has been helping people over the years, was also honored with this Award.
Singer Madhushree sang the song Kanha So Ja Zara , while Udit Narayan sang Papa Kehte Hain.
