With 'Swachata Abhiyan' being the main motive on Narendra Modi's mind currently, actor Salman Khan has now taken up the challenge of this cleanliness initiative. The actor actively participated in a cleanliness drive recently where he wielded the broom along with others in support of the initiative.
Readers may be aware that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched the cleanliness campaign on October 2 and had even taken the support of many prominent personalities out of which one was Salman Khan. The actor thanked the Prime Minister for nominating him and posted the pictures of completing the initiative on his Facebook and Twitter accounts. Salman Khan is currently shooting for his upcoming film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and also hosting the show Bigg Boss season 8 at Karjat, in the outskirts of Mumbai. It is from this place that the actor kick started the cleanliness initiative. He said, "I once again thank @narendramodi for taking up the Swachh Bharat initiative and nominating me.
