Further adding about the calendar for which she shot, Evelyn said, "The calendar speaks the universal language of fashion with gowns designed by Indian ace designer Narendra Kumar who drew inspiration from his love for Japan! The red dot in every picture combines our two cultures, representing the red dot on the Japanese flag and the red dot of an Indian woman's bindi. The calendar is a piece of art shot by Shahid Datawala and we hope that it will be equally appreciated by both the countries."
During this shoot, the prestigious FCCJ (Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan) in Tokyo invited the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actress to talk on the same. She said, ''I feel extremely honoured to be here to represent India in Japan and hope for a long lasting friendship between our countries. I wish more people from India would come to experience this beautiful place of culture and tradition, and of course the outstanding food and hospitality here."
Evelyn Sharma, who was recently spotted in Japan, was shooting for a special fashion calendar for Narendra Kumar along with Miss World Japan, Chika Nakagawa in support of Indo-Japan friendship. The main aim of this was to boost Japan's tourism industry and to attract Indian tourists to the island country; for which the actress did a pretty photo shoot.
