We are referring to the next generation of stars who have started evading Planet Bollywood and how. The rules are not just being rewritten for them, but also in some cases bended. Such is the brand pull of these youngsters. Talking about 'brand', it's not just the films that they are signing, it's also the brand-wagon that they are chugging alongwith them. Besides films, these young stars today, are busy selling everything from colas to soaps to cosmetics to even condoms! Talking about this, noted ad Guru Aleque Padamsee said, "Tell me who wants to see the ladies with fat legs when you have such pretty (slim) talent around! Nobody wants to see someone elderly running around tress when that person may just slip due to the age factor, if you know what I mean!"
Anirban Das Blah of CAA Kwan opines, "I feel that there's a lot of interest from all over in the young girls. Parineeti Chopra, for example, is someone who can easily fit into the Genelia- Preity mould. I feel people all over are on a lookout for fresh faces as there are only around 4-5 topmost heroines left in our country, which includes Katrina, Kareena, Deepika, Priyanka and Anushka. That's why I feel that the younger stars surely have an edge over the older ones, except a few established ones".
Satish Sundaresan of Bollywood Hungama profiles these red hot stars and the price they demand per brand:

Ranbir Kapoor
What can be written about a man who has success, fame and popularity written all over him! We are indeed talking about Ranbir Kapoor, the dude who has made the whole nation go 'badtameez' with his latest hit film. He continues to lead the pack in films as well as brandwagon. Like Anushka, he too has a list of almost never ending brands, which includes Hero Motors, Blackberry, Panasonic, Nissan, Lenovo computers etc...
Charges: Rs. 7.5- 8 crores per brand (approximately)
