Babil Khan has taken another step in his scuba diving journey after earning his Specialty Diver certification. Having previously completed his Advanced scuba diving certification, Babil continues to explore the underwater world while highlighting the importance of protecting the environment.
Sharing the update on social media, the actor offered a glimpse into his connection with nature, writing, “Really just an island boy at heart.”
Alongside his latest diving milestone, Babil also spoke about environmental conservation, stressing that protecting the planet should not be viewed as an individual choice but as a shared responsibility. Reflecting on how urban lifestyles and modern culture can influence people's perception of their relationship with nature, he wrote, “Culture in and spread through late-stage capitalism's flagship metropolitan cities has a way of making you think environmental conservation is a choice. It is not. I urge you to step back and see your illusions for what they are.”

Babil also shared his perspective on the ocean and the need to preserve marine ecosystems. Highlighting what being underwater means to him, he said, “For me, being in the ocean is a reminder of how much exists beyond our everyday lives. Marine life and the ecosystems beneath the surface are incredibly precious, and protecting them cannot be something we think about only when it is convenient. It is a responsibility we all share.”
His message draws attention to the importance of preserving marine biodiversity and protecting underwater habitats. Issues such as plastic pollution, damage to coral reefs and threats to marine species continue to underline the need for conservation efforts to maintain the balance of ocean ecosystems.
Through his interest in scuba diving and his views on environmental responsibility, Babil has encouraged people to reconsider their relationship with nature. His message emphasises that environmental conservation requires collective action and consistent efforts to protect the planet for future generations.
