This week we see the release of Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat starrer BANGISTAN and the fifth installment of Tom Cruise's action film, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - ROGUE NATION. The first one is a satirical comedy while the latter is a part of one of the most successful franchises.
According to reports coming from all across India, Karan Anshuman's BANGISTAN has started off on a very dull note while it is MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - ROGUE NATION that has been soaring high. With many negative reviews and occupancy rate as low as 15%, BANGISTAN, despite having morning shows, has been receiving low response. On the other hand, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - ROGUE NATION has received a tremendous response and even the morning shows have an occupancy rate of 60 to 70%.
BANGISTAN has to heavily depend on positive word of mouth considering that it not only has competition from the Tom Cruise starrer but also from previous releases like DRISHYAM, BAHUBALI and BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN which are still acting as crowd pullers. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - ROGUE NATION, however, is expected to only do better in the evening and night shows.
