It's all over for Kangana Ranaut and her recently released aerial action thriller, Tejas, as the film crash-landed at the box office on Monday. After collecting Rs. 3.30 crores in its opening weekend, Tejas has crashed at the box office on the fourth day with collections of Rs. 35 lakhs on Monday.
The four-day total of the film stands at Rs. 3.65 crores and the Ronnie Screwvala production is headed for a lifetime collection around Rs. 5 crores. With this, Tejas is set to find a special place in the books of history as it will end up becoming one of the biggest disasters of all time. It's a close fight between Dhaakad and Tejas to get the biggest disaster tag and it's certainly Dhaakad that will win this battle. Tejas will go down as one of the biggest debacles of Hindi Cinema as the shows were cancelled left, right, and center on Monday.
Tejas has also lost the clash against a small film like 12th Fail at the domestic box office and this in itself speaks volumes about how big a disaster it is. The three national chains collected Rs. 20 lakhs on Monday for Tejas.
