Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani grosses Rs. 200 crores worldwide; becomes the 4th movie of 2023 to achieve this feat :Bollywood Box Office

Karan Johar’s return as a director after seven years with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani made the right noise with his promotional material, especially the song ‘What Jhumka.’ The excitement for the film turned out to be worth as is seen with the positive reviews and impressive box office collection the Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer has been garnering. The multi-starrer crossed the Rs. 100 crores mark in India in its first 10 days itself.

And now, there is more reason for the makers of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani to rejoice. The movie has been doing exceptionally well globally. In fact, the latest update is that it has become the fourth film of 2023 to go past the Rs. 200 crores mark globally.

The movie has so far grossed Rs. 216.58 crores worldwide. The other three films of 2023 to achieve this feat are Pathaan, The Kerala Story, and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, which grossed Rs. 1,050.3 crores, Rs. 303.97 crores, and Rs. 220.1 crores respectively. From the look of it, it seems that RARKPK will surpass Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar from the list. The Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan came close to achieving this feat earlier this year as it finished at Rs. 182.44 crores in the overseas market.
