The Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1 has continued to run despite releasing last month. The film, which after a sluggish start quickly emerge as a dark horse at the box office fast become one of the biggest money spinners of 2021. Now, despite its OTT release, Pushpa has continued to do business in theatres.
In fact, on its seventh weekend running Pushpa: The Rise managed to draw in a further Rs. 0.40 cr. on Friday and Rs. 0.75 cr. on Saturday. On Sunday the business of the film saw an increase with Rs. 1.25 cr. more coming in. With this the total collections of Pushpa in weekend 7 stands at Rs. 2.40 cr.
If that wasn’t all, when compared to previous releases that have made it to their seventh weekend running, Pushpa manages to surpass previous releases like 3 Idiots that collected Rs. 2.15 cr., Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior that collected Rs. 2 cr., and Badhaai Ho that collected Rs. 1.30 cr.
