Ponniyin Selvan Box Office PS-1 joins the Rs. 400 cr club; becomes the third Tamil film after 2.0 and Vikram to achieve this

As per reports, Ponniyin Selvan has now crossed the Rs. 400 cr gross market at the worldwide box office, comfortable entering the highly exclusive Rs. 400 crore club after its second weekend running. If that was not enough, when compared to other Tamil film releases, Ponniyin Selvan has now become the third film to achieve this feat, behind previous releases like the Rajinikanth – Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 and the Kamal Haasan – Fahad Faasil starrer Vikram.

Going forward, Ponniyin Selvan continues to dominate the box office in the south and in certain overseas markets as well. Given the film’s current trending, trade predictions state that PS-1 will continue its run becoming one of the highest grossing Kollywood releases.
