The Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan directed by Siddharth Anand was released earlier this week to a thunderous response from the audience. Also starring Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham the film which received highly positive reviews from critics, saw a wide release across 5,500 screens in the domestic market. This wide release, coupled with the immense anticipation for the film, and positive feedback have worked wonders for the business of Pathaan.
After opening on a strong note, the film has been seeing an exponential increase in collections and patronage across the board. Now on its fourth day running, reports claim that Pathaan has seen a further increase in footfalls and occupancy in theatres. As per reports, the occupancy rate across late afternoon and evening shows is being pegged at 80%. Interestingly, this high occupancy rate comes despite the addition of more shows and screens with select locations even featuring midnight shows.
Going by this massive response to Pathaan trade has been buzzing with excitement. In fact, early predictions and estimates claim that the Yash Raj Films venture will see yet another windfall collection on its fourth day. As per advance estimates, Pathaan is likely to collect Rs. 50+ cr. on Day 4 and enter the 200 cr. club.
