Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham Pathaan, which released across 8000 screens worldwide, has been doing roaring business. After opening with a bang, the collections of Pathaan have been seeing an exponential increase with each passing day.
In fact, even in overseas markets, Pathaan has proved to be unstoppable. Looking closer at the New Zealand box office, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan is poised to surpass the Salman Khan starrer Tiger Zinda Hai and the Deepika Padukone starrer Padmaavat to emerge as the highest-grossing Bollywood release in this market. While Tiger Zinda Hai released in December 2017 raked in 828,511 NZ$ the Deepika Padukone starrer Padmaavat hit screens in 2018 and raked in 873,552 NZ$. Currently, Pathaan has managed to draw in 706,421 NZ$ within just five days of its release, and is expected to surpass the business of the previous two releases by the end of its first week in theatres.
As of now, Pathaan continues its box office run unopposed. In fact, based on trends trade predictions state that the business of the film will see further growth in collections as the days' progress. In fact, it will come as no surprise if Pathaan emerges as the highest-grosser at the worldwide box office in the coming days.
