Pathaan has wiped out all previous records as it collected Rs. 55 crore nett in India and recorded the biggest ever Day 1 for a Hindi film. The total collections of Pathaan on Day One is Rs. 57 crore nett (Hindi – Rs. 55 crore and dubbed versions Rs. 2 crore). 1. Widest Hindi Release of All Time in India.
Pathaan saw a release across 5500 screens within the domestic market alone, with theatre owners adding more shows and even starting shows at midnight.
2. Highest Grossing 1st Day for A Hindi Film.
Pathaan has managed to surpass previous releases emerging as the all-time highest opening-day grosser. In fact, the film has even managed to surpass big-ticket releases like KFG – Chapter 2 which collected Rs. 53.95 cr.
3. Highest Grossing First Day For A Non-Holiday Release.
Given that Pathaan was released on a Wednesday, a working weekday, it has now emerged as the highest non-holiday grossing release ever.
4. 3rd YRF Film To Cross ₹ 50 Cr+ Net Box Office
Collecting Rs, 57 cr, Pathaan joined Yash Raj Film’s previous releases like War which collected Rs. 53.35 cr, and Thugs Of Hindostan which collected Rs. 52.25 cr to become the third YRF film to cross the Rs. 50 cr mark on Day 1.
5. 3rd YRF Spy Universe Film to set an opening day record
After the Salman Khan starrer Ek Tha Tiger and the Hrithik Roshan-Tiger Shroff starrer War, Pathaan has become the third YRF Spy Universe film to set an opening day collections record.
6. Highest Grossing First Day for Shah Rukh Khan.
Collecting Rs. 57 cr, Pathaan has surpassed Shah Rukh Khan’s previous releases like Happy New Year which collected Rs. 44.97 cr, Chennai Express which collected Rs. 33.12 cr, and others.
7. Highest Grossing First Day for Deepika Padukone.
Pathaan has also emerged as Deepika Padukone’s Highest All-Time Opening Day grosser surpassing the collections of her previous releases like Happy New Year which collected Rs. 44.97 cr, Chennai Express which collected Rs. 33.12 cr, and Padmaavat which collected Rs. 24 cr.
8. Highest Grossing First Day for John Abraham.
In the case of John Abraham, Pathaan ranks as the actor’s highest opening day grosser by far overshadowing the collections of his previous releases like Satvameva Jayate which collected Rs. 19.50 cr, Race 2 which collected Rs. 15.12 cr, and Welcome Back which collected Rs. 14.35 cr amongst others.
9. Highest Grossing First Day for Yash Raj Films.
Much like the lead actors, for the production house as well, Pathaan stands as Yash Raj Films' highest opening day grosser to date.
10. Highest Grossing First Day for Siddharth Anand.
For Siddharth Anand as well Pathaan surpasses the collections of War which collected Rs. 53.35 cr and Bang Bang which collected Rs. 27.54 cr to emerge as his highest opening day grosser.
