The much talked about Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan finally hit screens yesterday. Starring Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, and a host of others, the film hit a massive 4500+ screens in India alone. Given the wide release of the film and the fact that it hit screens on Eid, business expectations of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan have been at an all-time high. Living up to the same, the Farhad Samji directorial has managed to open on a steady note.
In this box office report, we look at the opening day collections of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan while comparing the same to previous releases of 2023. Collecting Rs. 15.81 crores on its opening day Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has emerged as the second highest opening day grosser of 2023. Interestingly, despite the massive buzz surrounding the film, its wide release and of course Eid festivities the business of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan does not manage to surpass the business of previous releases like Pathaan, which has collected Rs. 57 crores. However, it does manage to surpass Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar which had collected Rs. 15.73 crores, Bholaa, which had collected Rs 11.20 crores, and Shehzada, which had collected Rs. 6 crores.
As of now Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan continues its run at the box office and is expected to see its business hold steady over its opening weekend. In fact, advance trade predictions state that with the wide release and the Eid festivities in full swing, the business of the film will see an increase in collections on its second and third day running.
