The Prashanth Neel directed film KGF – Chapter 2 starring Yash was released a few days ago. Garnering positive reviews from the critics the film which was released across 10000 screens worldwide in multiple languages started off on a thunderous note. With widespread audience acceptance, KGF 2 managed to rake in a staggering Rs. 53.95 cr. on opening day. Following this, the business of the film managed to hold strong with a further Rs. 46.79 cr. coming in on Day 2.
Not surprisingly, KGF 2 which enjoys a massive fan following is fast gaining pace. In fact, despite the massive number of shows, little to no competition in theatres, and an extended four-day weekend, the booking for the film continue to increase. As per reports, the advance booking for Sunday Day 4 has already registered ticket sales of around Rs. 15 cr. This coupled with spot bookings for the film is expected to send the box office collections of KGF – Chapter 2 soaring yet again on Day 4.
Currently, with its third day in theatres registering an increase in footfalls, Day 4 is likely to see a similar if not better trend. Given this upward spiral, and the unheard-of trending the film is enjoying the overall business of KGF – Chapter 2 is expected to near if not cross the Rs. 200 cr. mark by the end of its opening weekend.
