The Vivek Agnihotri directed film The Kashmir Files has been doing brisk business since its release over three weeks ago. Currently on its fourth weekend running the Anupam Kher starrer has been well received by the audience and critics alike. After fast crossing the Rs. 100 cr. mark and the Rs. 200 cr. mark the film is now heading to the Rs. 250 cr. target.
In this box office report, we look at the collections of The Kashmir Files within the Mumbai circuit while comparing the same to previous releases. Collecting Rs. 65.69 cr. The Kashmir Files has surpassed the collections of the Salman Khan starrer Ek Tha Tiger that had collected Rs. 65.46 cr. within the Mumbai circuit. In fact, the Vivek Agnihotri film ranks as the 24th all-time highest Mumbai grosser till date.
Going forward, the business of The Kashmir Files looks set to surpass the collections of Kick that had collected Rs. 66.02 cr. and Bajirao Mastani that had collected Rs. 67.43 cr. Given the currently trend the business of the film has been enjoying, along with the added advantage of the Gudi Padwa weekend, the collections of The Kashmir Files is expected to grow considerably.
