Friday at Rs. 3.55 crores and Wednesday at Rs. 19.05 crores - This is the stuff that dreams are made of. This is the stuff that will go down as a part of folklore. This is the stuff that is box office fantasy come true for trade and industry at large.
The Kashmir Files is doing phenomenal business and newer adjectives will need to be hunted for in order to share the film’s progress on a daily basis. After bringing Rs. 18 crores on Tuesday, the film grew further to collect Rs. 19.05 crores on Wednesday. This has never happened before for a regular movie in a non-holiday week. The collections are still going up and that’s a testimony of how much it is being loved by one and all. Typically, the best of the films and the biggest of the all-time blockbusters slow down on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to rise again on Saturday and Sunday. Here the film is still risking it and one has no clue when will this trend continue. However, what can be said with certainty is that the collections will be around Rs. 20 crores mark on Friday and Saturday at least with an even higher number expected on Sunday.
So far, the Vivek Agnihotri directed film has collected Rs. 79.25 crores and if the film somehow manages to have historic collections of around Rs. 21 crores today then Rs. 100 Crore Club entry will be there for the taking inside the first week itself.
