Kabir Singh is continuing to be a riot at the Box Office, what with a huge Rs. 17.10 crores being accumulated on the second Saturday. The film went up again from Rs. 12.21 crores that it had collected on its second Friday and is building on the momentum that has already been set. There is no stopping the film now, though external factor like today's India v/s England match would dent the collections to some extent.
So far, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directed film has collected Rs. 163.73 crores, which means it is already the second highest Bollywood biggie of 2019 after Uri - The Surgical Strike. It has gone past the lifetime numbers of Kesari [Rs. 154.41 crores] and Total Dhamaal [Rs. 154.23 crores] in just 9 days which pretty much tells the speed at which footfalls are being generated already.
This isn't all as there are more records in its plate already. In quick time, it is now amongst the Top-25 highest grossing films of all time (ever since the invention of the Rs. 100 Crore Club). It is next only to Race 3 [Rs. 169 crores] and Baaghi 2 [Rs. 166 crores] lifetime, both of which would be crossed by the time you read this. Post that the next biggie is Bang Bang [Rs. 181 crores] and if the film turns out to be extraordinary today as well then the Hrithik Roshan starrer would be left behind by the Shahid Kapoor flick in 10 days flat.
Blockbuster.
