The Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh released last week on Friday. Directed by Sandeep Vanga the film which released across 3123 screens has been doing rather well at the box office. After opening on a high note the business of Kabir Singh which is a remake of Arjun Reddy has been surpassing expectation each day. In fact, the film managed to rake in Rs. 70.83 cr on its opening weekend.

While the Shahid Kapoor starrer becomes the highest first Sunday grosser of 2019, when compared to the business of films from previous years, Kabir Singh becomes the 18th highest all-time first Sunday grosser.
