Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan has turn out to be one of the most eagerly anticipated Bollywood movie ever. The movie was straightaway in the news ever since it was announced officially. And by the time the promotions started, the excitement for Jawan hit beyond the roof. Bollywood Hungama has been consistently reporting about the film’s advance booking status. The latest was that the film has overtaken Pathaan in the list of all-time highest advance booking sales.
And now, news is coming in that Jawan has triumphed even overseas as far as the advance booking is concerned. As per an update shared by the movie page on X (previously known as Twitter) named Venky Reviews, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer has sold as many as 41,582 tickets in the US, where the film opens tomorrow.
This comes down to $ 628,729 earned from the advances. This is an all-time record for a Hindi film by a good margin. Jawan has opened to 570 theatres in the country and has around 2248 shows daily.
Directed by Atlee Kumar and produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, Jawan is an action thriller, which also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra among others.
