Sunny Deol is well into his 60s. In fact, the actor will complete 66 around two months later. Hence, he has become the oldest main lead actor or a hero to make an entry into the Rs. 100 Crores Club as his latest flick Gadar 2 reached the three-figure mark yesterday. The film has so far earned Rs. 134.88 crores. He has also become the first Bollywood actor to enter the coveted list after becoming a senior citizen.
But that’s not all. Gadar 2 has also become Sunny’s all-time highest weekend grosser as it made the aforementioned amount in the first three days. Directed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 has been creating havoc at the box office.
The second movie in the list of Sunny Deol’s highest weekend earners is the sequel of his classic Ghayal titled Ghayal Once Again (2016), which made Rs. 23.25 crores in the first three days. This is followed by his comedy Yamla Pagla Deewana (2011) with Rs. 22.80 crores. The film also starred his father Dharmendra and younger brother Bobby Deol. Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (2013) and Singh Saab The Great (2013), which was also directed by Anil Sharma, are the next films in the list with Rs. 22.5 crores and Rs. 18.5 crores respectively.
