Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion which was the second part in the epic saga directed by SS Rajamouli released a few days back in China. Despite rocking the Indian box office the film did not take off to a flying start at the China box office. If that wasn’t enough, the business of Baahubali 2 within the Chinese market has been quite unlike recent Bollywood releases that have powered their way through consecutive weeks at the China box office.
Now on Day 4 in China, the collections of Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion have already begun to show a decline. With just USD 0.88 million [Rs. 5.91 cr] coming in on its fourth day the overall business of Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion at the China box office has slowed down considerably. In fact, the total collections of the film that had made it past the Rs. 50 cr mark in 3 days are now pegged at just USD 8.55 million [Rs. 57.51 cr].
Interestingly, though the collections of Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion at the China box office have not been recording benchmark figures the film still manages to find a place on the daily highest grossers list in the market. But, with previous releases like the Hollywood films Rampage and Ready Player One along with local releases like Us And Them still going strong Baahubali 2 faces a tough time ahead especially with the massive action entertainer Avengers: Infinity War slated to hit screens on May 11 in China.
