Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has surpassed yet another milestone as Rs 70 crores mark has been crossed in 5 days. For a film which stood at Rs 36.59 crores after its first three days, it's good to see it almost double the numbers in the next two days, what with the overall score standing at Rs 70.24 crores. While Saturday numbers had anyways seen a very good jump over Friday, there was further growth evidenced on Sunday for the Luv Ranjan directed romcom cum family drama.
With Rs 17.08 crores coming on Sunday, the weekend consolidation has come and now it's all about how do the weekdays turn out to be. The momentum needs to sustain from this point on since it's still a few days more to go before it can be said with utmost confidence that the film is emerging as a good success. What the weekend has done is bring the film into a stable zone but what it also needs to do is add good profits and that would rely upon the stability that's shown from Monday to Thursday, and then the growth that's seen again over the weekend.
By the look of things, Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor have done well enough to win over the target audiences and while the word of mouth is all positive at the major cities, greater footfalls in the interiors would further help the cause as well. That's what would decide whether the film gets into that Rs 120-130 crores zone eventually or shoots up further in its lifetime.
