The Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 that released in December last year has managed to surprise everyone. Despite the stiff competition from other releases like, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and 83; Pushpa managed to hold its own at the box office. In fact, the collections of the film saw growth as the weeks progressed, with business crossing the Rs. 100 cr. mark 45 days after its release.
In this box office report we take a look at the Top 5 slowest films to reach the Rs. 100 cr. mark. Leading the list is the Saif Ali Khan starrer Race 2 that managed to cross Rs. 100 cr. on Day 63, following this is the Ajay Devgn starrer Singham that took 50 days, with Pushpa: The Rise sharing third place with Bol Bachchan that took 45 days to reach the Rs. 100 cr. mark, while Ajay Degn’s Shivaay concludes the list by taking 32 days to achieve this target.
Interestingly, from the Top 5 slowest films to reach the Rs. 100 cr. club, as per Aamir Khan’s box office success formula, Pushpa: The Rise has been the most successful film. As per Aamir’s formula Pushpa enjoyed a 8.07 Weekend to Life Time Multiple while Shivaay saw a 3.51 and Singham had a 3.24 Weekend to Life Time Multiple.
