The Sanjay Dutt biopic titled Sanju released a while back. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani and featuring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, the film has been enjoying a stellar run at the box office since its release. After opening on a thunderous note, the business of the film continued to see immense growth as the days progressed.
Now after its 10 day run in both the domestic and international markets, Sanju has managed to cross the Rs. 400 cr gross mark at the worldwide box office. Released across 5300+ screens worldwide (domestic 4000 + overseas 1300+) Sanju has managed to rake in a massive Rs. 340.36 cr gross within the domestic market. This coupled with another Rs. 104.84 cr gross coming in from the overseas markets the total gross collections of Sanju are currently pegged at Rs. 445.2 cr.
Interestingly, given the fact that Sanju still continues to hold the audiences’ attention in both the domestic and international markets expectations are that the business of the film will see further growth. Apart from this, with little to no competition in the coming week, the overall business of Sanju looks set to see stellar growth in the domestic market.
