The Sanjay Dutt biopic directed by Rajkumar Hirani titled Sanju released a week ago. Starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, the film that hit a total of 4000 screens in India has been doing roaring business at the box office. After making it across the Rs. 100 cr mark in just three days of its release, the business of Sanju has now managed to beat the collections of the Aamir Khan starrer Dangal in its opening week, while at the same time crossing the Rs. 200 cr mark at the box office.
In this box office analysis, we take a look at the opening week collections of Sanju while comparing it to previous releases. Though the business of Sanju that is currently pegged at Rs. 202.51 cr has managed to beat the collections of Dangal that was Rs. 197.54 cr to emerge as the 4th All-time highest opening week grosser, the collections of the film do not manage to surpass a few other releases.
