Noor has stayed flat on Saturday. For the film to show any signs of improvement, the collections had to at least double on its second day. However, none of that happened as after a poor start of Rs. 1.54 crore, the film could manage just Rs. 1.89 crore on its second day. With this, the fate of the film is pretty much sealed and unless there is a remarkable turnaround today, the Sonakshi Sinha starrer would turn out to be a one week show.
Noor was one of the quickest films done by Sonakshi and the role too was author backed for her. However, of late audiences have become more and more selective about the films that they wish to watch on the big screen, due to which the showcasing of anything new (right from the inception stage) has to be ultra strong and extremely positive. Since Noor wasn't quite carrying much of a buzz around it, the collections were pretty much reflective of that from the opening show itself.
Currently, the film stands at Rs. 3.43 crore and in the best case scenario would end its weekend at Rs. 6 crore. These would be very poor numbers for a film that features an A list actor as a central protagonist.
