KGF: Chapter 2 (Hindi) is continuing its mega run at the box office, what with Rs. 373.33 crores already in its kitty. This was made possible after the film brought in Rs. 3.75 crores on Monday. On Friday, the film had collected Rs. 4.25 crores so that the drop has been minimal. That said, one expected the numbers to be almost similar since today is the national holiday of Eid and hence evening and nights shows yesterday were expected to be even bigger.
Still, all said and done, KGF: Chapter 2 (Hindi) stays on to be the highest collecting film in the running currently and that’s only going to take a bigger proportion today when a larger crowd will emerge in theatres. There is a lot of Muslim crowd that hasn’t indulged in movie watching experience for long and with the Yash starrer been hot favourite for over two weeks now, they are expected to drive down in hordes.
That would also ensure that the film gets the tag of being an All Time Blockbuster on this auspicious day as it would go past the Rs. 375 crores mark and possibly even touch Rs. 380 crores. So far, the film has collected Rs. 373.33 crores and soon enough it will also surpass Dangal lifetime collections of Rs. 387.38 crores to emerge as the second Hindi grosser of all times after Baahubali: The Conclusion (Rs. 511 crores).
