Yesterday the multi starrer Housefull 3 which is the third film in the Housefull franchise hit screens. The film featuring anensemble cast comprising of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon opened on a good note.
In this box office report, we take a look at the Opening Day collections of Housefull 3 while comparing them to Akshay Kumar's previousreleases. Interestingly Housefull 3 that collected Rs. 15.21 crores comes in second, not surpassing Akshay's 2015 release Singh Is Bliing that earned Rs. 20.67 crores on its opening day. However, the film's collections overtakes Akshay's other releases like Airlift which collected Rs. 12.35 crores, the previous release of this franchise Housefull 2 which collected Rs. 14 crores and even one of Akshay's most successful films Holiday A Soldier Is Never Off Duty which collected Rs. 12.18 crores.
