Afgter a very good weekend of Rs. 87.60 crore, Golmaal Again maintained good pace right through the weekdays as well. As a result, the first week numbers stand at Rs. 136.07 crore which is just superb. The film is a Super-hit and has turned out to be a major Diwali grosser despite clash with an Aamir Khan film [Secret Superstar].
There is no opposition whatsoever this week as well, which means the Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty film has ground wide open to bring in audiences for many more days. It is expected that the second weekend would further bring in around Rs. 20 crore and if that happens, the film would be challenging lifetime total of Dabangg 2 [Rs. 156.50 crore] in 10 days flat.
This isn't all as these numbers would also bring it in contention to enter the list of All Time Top-15 grossers, ever since the term '100 Crore Club' was coined. Amongst Hindi films, while Dangal sits at the top with Rs. 387.38 crore as collections, at #15 is Bang Bang [Rs. 181 crore]. If Golmaal Again manages to surpass this number, it would be just below Bajirao Mastani [Rs. 188 crore] and that would be a remarkable feat indeed.
