Ek Villain is also Shraddha Kapoor's biggest opening film, followed by Aashiqui 2 (Rs. 6.25 cr) and Luv Ka The End (Rs. 60 lacs).
Mohit Suri, who has directed quite a few films till date, has never had a success as big as Ek Villain. This is till date his biggest opening film, followed by Murder 2 (Rs. 7.10cr) and Aashiqui 2 (Rs. 6.25 cr).
