The recently released Alia Bhatt – Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dear Zindagi directed by Gauri Shinde has been moving from strength to strength. After posting well above average opening day and opening weekend collections, the film managed to hold strong even on Monday.
In this box office report, we take a look at the collections of Dear Zindagi while comparing the same to the lifetime collections of previous releases. Collecting Rs. 4.25 cr on Monday, the film has collected a total of Rs. 36.75 cr in four days. Interestingly the four day collections of Dear Zindagi have already overtaken the lifetime collections of films like Mastizaade that collected Rs. 36.44 cr, Ghayal Once Again that collected Rs. 35.7 cr and even the Emraan Hashmi starrer Azhar that collected Rs. 33.03 cr.
But with Dear Zindagi continuing its run at the box office, all that is left to be seen is whether the collections of the film will enable it to rank as one of the top grossers of 2016.
