The Shah Rukh Khan - Alia Bhatt starrer Dear Zindagi directed by Gauri Shinde released a week ago. The film which opened on a good note witnessed steady growth in business over the week.
In this box office report we take a look at the Opening Week collections of Dear Zindagi while comparing the same to previous releases of 2016. Collecting Rs. 47 cr, Dear Zindagi becomes the thirteenth highest Opening week grosser of 2016. Though the film fails to surpass the collection of previous film like Sultan that collected Rs. 229.16 cr, M. S. Dhoni - The Untold Story that collected Rs. 94.13 cr, Rustom that collected Rs. 90.9 cr, and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil that collected Rs. 80.19 cr to name a few. It does manage to surpass others like Kapoor & Sons that collected Rs. 46.93 Ki & Ka that collected Rs. 37.57, A Flying Jatt that collected Rs. 36.85 and Pink that collected Rs. 35.91 cr.
