The Aamir Khan starrer Dangal has achieved a new milestone. The film which released across the border in China weeks back has been dominating the charts ever since its release. In fact, Dangal managed to hold on a slot among the top ten highest grossers in this territory right from the start.
Now the film which was directed by Nitesh Tiwari has managed to draw in a further USD 4.60 million [Rs. 29.61 cr] on Day 28 at the Chinese box office. However, though Dangal has continued to run it has now dropped to the third slot with the Hollywood flick Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales still topping the chart.
But despite this the film which has been one of the record breaking releases in the recent past has now achieved yet another milestone. In fact, Dangal has managed to cross the Rs. 1000 crore mark in terms of collections at the Chinese box office. With the collections of the film on its 28th day in this territory the total collections of Dangal currently stands at a stagger USD 159.38 million [Rs. 1026 cr].
