The Nitesh Tiwari directed film Dangal starring Aamir Khan has been doing very well at the box office. In fact the film that is based on the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat has seen consistent growth in collections as the week progressed.

Collecting Rs. 197.54 cr in its opening week Dangal has managed to become Aamir Khan’s highest opening week grosser. In fact Dangal has managed to surpass the opening week collections of Aamir’s previous releases like Dhoom 3 that collected Rs. 188.99 cr, PK that collected Rs. 183.09 cr and even 3 idiots that had collected Rs. 78.59 cr.
With Dangal still ruling the roost at the box office and with little to no competition coming in from new releases, all eyes are currently analysing whether the film’s lifetime collections will surpass that of Aamir’s other films.
