The Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Badhaai Ho released a while back. Since then the film has been rather stable at the box office despite the fact that the big ticket Aamir Khan starrer Thugs of Hindostan released. Now after a five week run at the box office, Badhaai Ho has managed to accomplish yet another feat. In fact, Badhaai Ho has managed to surpass the collections of Padmaavat to become the highest fifth week grosser of 2018.
Collecting Rs. 8 cr in its fifth week, the business of Badhaai Ho has managed to eclipse the collections of Padmaavat that had collected Rs. 7.54 cr in its fifth week to become the highest 5th week grosser of 2018. In fact, apart from Padmaavat, the business of Badhaai Ho has managed to record better collections than other releases like Stree that collected Rs. 5.44 cr, Sonu Ke titu Ki Sweety that collected Rs. 4.25 cr, and even Sanju that had collected Rs. 3 cr.
Now with Badhaai Ho still running in theatres it remains to be seen whether the film manages to become one of the highest sixth weekend grossers as well.
