Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma would be quite happy with the turnaround that their 'jodi' has seen in a matter of one and a half years. Last year there was no spark at the Box Office when they came together for Bombay Velvet. However this year the same couple has delivered a good hit with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The film is working beyond just the urban youth and that pretty much establishes that Karan Johar and fox have managed to penetrate beyond the conventional markets as well.
This reflects in the Sunday collections which stand at Rs. 6.55 crore. The film has continued its upward swing and as a result the overall moolah stands at Rs. 97.15 crore. The film has seen good progress towards the 100 crore mark and everyone associated with the romantic musical drama would be happy to gain an entry in the 100 Crore Club.
The film will cross the 110 crore mark by the end of second week and by the look of things, a lifetime total in the upwards of 120 crore is pretty much on the cards. It is time to pop the champagne for Dharma and Fox.
