Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan's superhero extravaganza Krrish 3 seems to be picking up business-wise as the film continues its momentous run at the box office. After becoming the fastest film to break into the Rs. 200 crore club, accomplishing the feat in just 10 days of its release, it has contrary to general perception, also picked up revenues in its second week.
In this edition of Box Office Report Card, we look at the second week collections of Krrish 3 in comparison to other big releases this year namely, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Chennai Express and Grand Masti. While each of these films has shown a decrease in collections in their second week, Krrish 3's business has been steadily increasing. In fact the second weekend collections of Krrish 3 are nearly 57% higher than that of the Shah Rukh Khan - Deepika Padukone starrer Chennai Express during the same period.
Now with the news of the film's ticket prices being slashed and a free run till Friday, Krrish 3 is well on its way to setting a new benchmark for box-office collections.
