The much-talked-about Kartik Aaryan – Kiara Advani starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was released last week on Friday. After opening on a good note with Rs. 14.11 cr coming in on Day 1 the Anees Bazmee directorial saw it collections spike over its opening weekend, managing to draw in 55.96 cr. Now in its first week running the film produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani has seen its collections remain more or less stable. In fact, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has managed to cross the highly coveted Rs. 100 cr mark within just 8 days of its release.
Not surprisingly, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which saw an incredible rate of advance bookings, with audiences thronging theatres, has managed to draw in Rs. 109.92 cr making it the fifth release of 2022 to enter the Rs. 100 Crore Club. If that was not all, the film also ranks as the third Bollywood release to achieve this feat following the previous releases like The Kashmir Files and Gangubai Kathiawadi that have crossed the Rs. 100 cr mark this year.
Currently, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 continues to run to packed houses. Released across 3200 screens in the domestic market the film is expected to continue its box office run despite new releases hitting screens. In fact, as per trade predictions, if the film maintains its current momentum the overall business of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will certainly close the gap to the Rs. 150 cr mark in the coming week.
