The Anees Bazmee directorial Bhool Bhuaiyaa 2 starring Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan hit screens last week on Friday. After a good start at the box office, the business of the film witnessed immense growth over its opening weekend managing to cross the Rs. 50 cr mark. Later on its first Monday the Bhushan Kumar – Murad Khetani production continued to hold steady with around Rs. 10 cr more coming in. If that wasn’t enough, though its first week Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has managed to maintain incredible momentum propelling the film’s business closer to the Rs. 100 cr mark.
Now, after just 8 days since its release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which has collected Rs. 109.92 cr has managed to enter the highly coveted Rs. 100 cr club. With the film crossing the Rs. 100 cr mark, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has now become Kiara Advani’s fourth release to achieve this feat. Following her previous releases viz. M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story, Good Newwz and Kabir Singh, with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 now entering the Rs. 100 cr club, Kiara has joined Anushka Sharma and Asin who each have four releases that have achieved this feat. If that wasn’t all, with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 crossing the Rs. 100 cr mark, Kiara has entered the Top 10 list of actresses who have the maximum number of films that have crossed the Rs. 100 cr mark.
Currently, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 continues to run to packed houses. Released across 3200 screens in the domestic market the film is expected to continue its box office run despite new releases hitting screens. In fact, as per trade predictions, if the film maintains its current momentum the overall business of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will certainly close the gap to the Rs. 150 cr mark in the coming week.
