The Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal released a little over a week ago to a thunderous response from the audience. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial that also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna saw its business grow exponentially over its opening weekend, and first week as well. Now on its second weekend running, the business of Animal has seen yet another growth spurt, with over Rs. 90 crores coming in.

Collecting a staggering Rs. 95.39 crores with Rs. 87.56 crores coming in from its Hindi release and a further Rs. 7.83 crores from its dubbed versions, Animal has emerged as the third all-time highest second Sunday grosser. Though leading the list are previous releases like the Sunny Deol – Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2 that had collected Rs. 38.90 crores and the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan that had collected Rs. 37.26 crores, Animal does surpass other releases. In fact, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer on its second Sunday has outperformed films like Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, Dangal, Pathaan, Sanju and others.
