Very Touching Movie. I recommend it to watch it with your brother. I wish I could. Anyway, lets start: Yuvvraaj is a great movie. Excellent acting by everyone. Anil Kapoor showed his hidden ability! It suites him, nice! Salman Khan was good. Nice acting, almost everything. Nice combination with Katrina. Zayed did his work good. His negative work, matches with his personality.

All style but not much substance Veteran director Subhash Ghai is hoping to resurrect some of the credibility he lost with his previous flops Yaadein & Kisna with this glossy drama. I never really intended to see it when I heard about it because Katrina Kaif is in it and all of her films suck (except Race). But the promos was so good and I loved the music especially the Dost song composed by the best music composer & lyrics writer combo A R Rehman and Gulzar. So I seen it anyway and its about Yuvvraaj (Prince) who gets thrown out of his family. He wants to get married to this really rich girl but her father wants her to marry someone else. So he signs a contract with him that in 40 days, he will become twice as rich as him. He eventually gets closer to one of his brothers and realises that he is happy to help him without wanting anything. The story & screenplay is o.k. but it's quite long for a 2.5 hour movie because their wasn't enough to make it that long. None of the actors acted well except Anil Kapoor and Katrina Kaif was simply the worst, she is completely crap. Neither she knows acting, language (her voice is always dubbed for her), dance and always fails to impress. I do not like her one bit and if she was replaced by someone else then that would've helped a lot. The film had big sets that were so good and visually impressive that they keep you in your seat throughout. Overall if you have nothing to do on a rainy day or something then watch it but Yuvvraaj is nothing to look forward to.

I wud say that the movie had just some lavish sets which really wasn't of any interest to watch. The first half was entirely boring with poor screenplay and dialogue particularly. The last twenty minutes or more was all what the film worth watching.

im basically writing this review bcuz i heard this movie is [somewhat] a commercial disaster...bcuz movie reviews rele arent my thing so u kno that im doin this outta desperation..such a beautiful film cant go to waste...i wont let it happen!...GO AND WATCH THIS FILM GUYS! i really liked it...in fact, i LOVED IT! the story is simply TOUCHING! it may get boring @ times...mainly bcuz of the inadequate direction tho...but the movie is surely WORTH IT bcuz its a great, beautiful, heartwarming, family story...n also bcuz it attains amazing performances by the leads of the film...especially Mr. Anil Kapoor!! after a TERRIFIC job in Tashan, he returns wit yet another performance that we'll cherish for a long time...the expressions, the persuasion of his character, the dialogue delivery...its COMMENDABLE! i truly believe that Anil, Amitabh, and Aamir r the best ACTING actors in all of B-wood! [in terms of overall "superstar" quality, no one can beat Akshay Kumar!] back to the review now...Zayed Khan pitches in an above-average performance...his yelling, n his acting in general, may rub to many as annoying but, weirdly, i actually liked it! i thought it fit his character very well...Salman Khan also fits his character extremely well [btw he lookd rele good wit his hair tied bac but any other hairstyle looks terrible on him now!] anyway his acting is rele good in some places but disappointing in a couple of scenes...in the latter portions of the film, he really does justice to his role...GREAT indeed! Katrina...Kaif...stilll....cant....act!...but shes so frickin pretty i dont even care if she can act! Boman Irani is excessively likable [when is he not!] the music of the film is OUTSTANDING! [CHECK OUT MY MUSIC REVIEW! lol] the picturization of the tracks is also brilliant [mastam, dil ka rishta in particular...meri dost hai was kinda weird tho dude...they were flyin n stuff!] the scenery is also note-worthy...the locations r breathtaking! i even enjoyd the end credits! haha...no seriously tho...i really did! overall, subhash ghai finally comes wit a great movie after YEARS!!!! the last good movie he had was Pardes [n then Taal...to an extent...] overall, its a treat for evryone to enjoy! GO AND WATCH THIS FILM PEOPLE!!!!!! U WONT REGRET IT!!!!! TRUST ME!!!!!!!!!
