Awesome typical bollywood commercial film....Just sit, laugh and get entertained! Great dancing, funny acting(Bit overdone at times though), and some really funny moments.m Basically a very entertaining film...However, this is a type of comedy film only the Indian crowd would understand...The sarcasm, jokes and situations don't really have international appeal. Most of the film made fun of Indian cinema of the 60's/70's and that's why it would be funny for Indians. The songs are also great and the choreography and picturization takes the film to a whole other level

OM Shanti OM has a script that you have heard before. The double role has been seen before like fore example hemesha starring saif and kajol. The story is somewhat the same but om shanti om was made beautifully. In 2004 farah khan released Main Hoon Na showing in a promo that the movie consists of everything. Comedy, drama, tragedy, action, and etc. She proved that om shanti om has everything too. Sharukh khan's acting as always is fantastic i think its his best yet. But deepika padukone even though she did not have a lot of scenes in the second half she proved why she deserved to debut her first movie with King Khan and Queen Khan(Farah Khan). This movie is excellent and people should watch it.

<P> This looks like a film inspired from Karz, and is almost exactly like it. But SRK in the lead role, Farah Khan's direction and Vishal-Shekhar's music give a very different view to it.
<P> This is a film which revolves mainly around 3 people. SRK(Om), Deepika Padukone[Shanti(Sandy)]and Shreyas Talpade(Pappu Master). Om Prakash Makhija is a Junior Artiste in some movies but wants to become an actor. Deepika is a succesful actress and Talpade is Omi's best friend. Arjun Rampal plays the villain, a producer by the name of Mukesh Mehra. Mukesh kills Shanti, Om dies helping her and is reborn as Om Kapoor or OK who is a great actor in India and Sandy wants to work with him and so on. Overall, the performances are first-class and the direction and dialogues are remarkable. A full thumbsup for OSO!

I havent seen a pathetic movie more than this. I dont know why there was so much hype for this movie. It was not worth it and deepika padukone...is horrible she doesnt knw anything.
