First of all - i would like to say that anyone who rated this movie bad or low -has not seen it…  

First of all - i would like to say that anyone who rated this movie bad or low -has not seen it otherwise there is no way not to appreciate this film. Karan Johar, Kajol and SRK make this movie work. Karan Johar - simply he has done pure justice to his audience - with his best work yet without a doubt. He has finally come out of his little slump. Kajol - her acting of the highly energetic eccentric role of Mandira was just perfect- most likely she will bag the best actor for the awards of 2010. Now finally to SRK who people are comparing to the role done in Rain Man - that was hollywood and noone can copy good acting - only good actors can do good acting - if that makes any sense. He is sure to win the best actor award for 2010 (i know its quite early) but im pretty sure unless Hrithik bags it for Guzaarish because i think that movie we will get to see a completely different HR thanks to Sanjay Leela Bhansali. On a personal note - i thought this movie was perfect and will not spoil it for anyone - but i do have to add that this movie is not so much for the indian audience as it is for the muslim and international audience. That may sound biased but believe me this is the indirect truth. I wish all the best to My name is khan and hope it gets the same success as 3 idiots and inshallah much much more - beautiful movie.

The story was good, the concept was good, and Sharukh's acting was amazing. Kajol's acting was mediocre.

First and Foremost 'MNIK' is not just about Autism and Religion,these are just a backdrop rather its a story of a Man who above all things is a simple hearted good man who is determined to do anything to win his love back whilst keeping the values inhereted from her mother intact. -------------------------------------------------- MNIK is a impressive film and a brave attempt by its director Karan Johar,who earlier was known for his frothy and wide screen emotional dramas.but seems like the Karan Johar's cinema has got real so,dont go expecting mindless latka jhatka's and shining costumes .Its a bollywood mainstream film and at the same time a film depicting realism and shows that the director has treated the film with apt sincerity and is in control.Most movies of similar genres have shown protagonist to be turned into terrorists. but this movie gives a message that love is much more stronger tool to gain respect and right for a person or community. -------------------------------------------------- (3.5/5) Reviewed By PRABHJIT SINGH WALIA. really...i wud say its not Shahrukh's best film...but its no doubt Shahrukh's best performance till date...its true that script is not at all flawless....but all things all flaws go blurred with awesome performance of SHAHRUKH....i just wonder how some of the user can give it 0.5...they are simply jelous of sucess of MNIK...if 3 idiots become a super hit after a total copy of script and some ridiculous moment like delivery with vaccum cleaner...then i assure everyone its not that ridiculous at all...
