It was a good effort from Vishal Bhartwaaj. Some of the characters confuse the audience but story picked up in second half. Shahid has given an award winning performance. Priyanka also did justice to her sweet and small role.

One of the best film of 2009 till date. Kaminey is an excellent movie because of vishal bhardwaj, Shahid Kapoor and Dhan te Nan. The film is very smartly and intelligently executed by vishal, his background score is so catchy that whole movie is a spine chilling experience.Shahid's best performance till date, double roles are very expertly executed by him in the movie.Priyanka has really raised the bar of her acting in the film.Amole Gupte the ultimate surprise package allin all everyactor has done full justice to their roles.Exceeelllent movie

I am just coming from Naz8 Cinema theater, Lakewood, CA, USA and I am very glad to see Kaminey. Kaminey is the best Bollywood movie, I have seen after Dev D and Gulal in this year 2009. Kaminey is bold and unpredictable movie, that is what called creativity, original rollercoaster ride kind of as someone said on his review earlier I read online. I really like to give him the credit because of that I went to see this movie with my niece. Although Kaminey has been given Adult certificate, nothing can stop anyone watching this movie with family. As Kaminey is a intellectual movie and I want my family should watch together. Director Vishal Bhardwaj has done excellent job by adopting the concept of Hollywood movies into Bollywood environment. The chemistry between lead actors; Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra is amazing and both have done fantastic job. Especially, Shahid Kapoor came out with this movie as a winner and after this movie Indian audiences are going to expect from him alot. I am pretty sure that he won't disappoint anyone because he is really good actor like his father Pankaj Kapoor. Kaminey keeps you to sit on your seat from start to end and at the end it is more interesting, like every delicious dish.I guarantee 200% that Kaminey is going to give you full satisfaction of entertainment and a worth to your money.It is like watching one of the ten best gangster movies ever like Donnie Brasco,The Departed,A History Of Violence,On the Waterfront,Once Upon A Time In America,Scarface,Mean Streets,Pulp Fiction,The Godfather Trilogy,and Goodfellas. I give this Movie Five Star. A MUST WATCH MOVIE!

Though i am not big fan of bollywood movies. my interest n enthu to see kaminey and expectation alosis on high because 3 reasons 1. Vishal 2. Shahid kapoor 3. Dhan ta nan song I went to preview @Fame cinemas (Forum Value Mall, White Field) with high expectations. Story: Two twin brothers Charlie who is having lisps n working with bookies n Guddu studying living separately , Charlie is dream to become bookie or more having a own race. Guddu having some strategy to live in the life and he is having a girlfriend sweety (whose brother is a goon). The story is all about why they chased by dons and gangs and how they came together. Screenplay, Music n Direction: Vishal is taken time almost 4 year after superbly written n made Omkara. He come up with one more master piece called Kaminey. In each and very scene you can see intelligence of director, there is no brainless scenes in the movie. The charcters presentation, interval bang and Climax superb. Dhan te nan song , n background music is rocking through out the movie. Actors: Shaid Kapoor: i have no words for his performance (5/5). Priyanka Chopra: Did a decent job. Reamin actors also did a good job. Final Word: Go n watch it you will get more than what you pay.

Kaminey is a very Ungripping,confusing and boring film.Yes Vishal Bharadwaj's film are always dark but this one is too darker man.I literally lost my concentration while watching the movie.Please dont waste your time. Yes the performance of Shahid Kapoor is superb but thats it. Overall highly disappointing.
