The movie is without any song which is a good thing. the movie is not boring but is not convincing. The end of the movie is bad direction/script. One time watch only. SRK did a good job after Chak De!!! Its for his fans only 

First of all, FAN is not a regular Bollywood movie, where the hero falls in love with the girl and…  

First of all, FAN is not a regular Bollywood movie, where the hero falls in love with the girl and sing songs dance and romance, it is far different from it. But, first things first. I want to express what FAN isn't. 1. This is not a movie where you'll get motivated, like we all did in CHAK DE. 2. This is not a movie where you'll enjoy the dance numbers, cos there aren't any. 3. This is not a movie, in which you'll come out of the movie hall happy. 4. This isn't like the recent few movies of SRK which were mediocre. Then what FAN is? FAN is an offbeat psychological motion picture which depicts the flaw in human nature, the Egoism, the abuse of power, the lack of human nature to let-go unfavorable things in life and to just move on. I think SRK has outdone himself through Gaurav's character. The biggest trick SRK and his team has pulled off is making the audience believe that Gaurav and Aryan are two different people. At any point of time the thought that Aryan and Gaurav are the same do not cross your mind. While Gaurav Chandna is the USP of this movie, SRK pulls off a masterpiece through Aryan Khanna. In the second half I felt very uncomfortable and disturbed by watching Aryan Khanna mistreated by his fans, a cop and a rich man. This itself is a win for SRK and the FAN team. The characterisation is so good that at times you feel for both Gaurav and Aryan and at times you hate them both for their misdoings. But, being said that, this movie is not perfect, but far from it. Director Manish Sharma fails to answer some questions. As in, where was Gaurav for 1 year before ending up in London and how a simple cyber cafe owner learned to hack into servers to get entry to a show as a journalist. Also at times you don't feel the bg music is natural, you'll feel they have been forcefully put there to amplify the experience of the audience. But, with all its flaws this movie is an incredible landmark in the history of Bollywood for its special effects and the acting of SRK himself. The best part of the movie is the Climax. I just sat there at the end when the movie ended awestruck, sad, disturbed about the Climax. Very emotional and psychologically disturbing ending it was for me. Go watch it for SRK. This is a very unique gem in the string of offbeat movies of bollywood. Now looking forward for Raees.

A extraordinary amazing and best of the best actor in the world give an incredible superb performance with this fantastic movie...FAN.surely one of the best movie of king khan...character of Gaurav and Aryan done very smoothly ...good story...hats off to SRK..u r best ...and no word to say but only i can say that u should deserve an Oscar for best actor after this film...U proved that u r god of acting... SRK...I Hope Fan Will Double triple ...xxtime Your Fans list after this movie....hope this will break all Bollywood box office record...and to all that are not fans of Srk and specially haters..i can surely say if u watch this movie u wouldn't be able to stop yourself to become a fan of Shah Rukh Khan at least from your heart whether your mind stop to become ...Lastly only i can say U r the ULTIMATE...the best Verstile actor in the world...Sir SRK and hope India get an Oscar this time ..specially for best actor...

whatever you say in past few years about SRK performance and movie selection,this is answer to you all by SRK splendid performance in FAN. Actually it has everything right from Script to Storyline,Locations to Action sequences,Acting performance to dialogue delivery. SRK in Gaurav role completely gave you feel like you are not actually watching a movie but to watch him next to his side.He completely tick all the boxes of Acting performance and made this Character as ionic.On the other side Aryan Khanna role as a Superstar actually performed equally well and in climax surprisingly it beats Gaurav also Movie is actually Fantastic with Excellent First Half and Good Second half.Only one thing i actually not like its length,it should be 10 min short otherwise everyone do fantastic job from director to every Cast n crew. At Last I would like to mention its BGM, its just unbelievable thanks to Andrea Guerra and Make up Artist Greg Cannom what a job he had done with Gaurav. Do not miss this Super Thriller.Go n watch it.

Saw the film today at 11 30 show with friends . The film could have been better but it's still so f**king good . Easily a 3.75/5 for me . Contrary to popular belief , I liked the 2nd half better . The film itself will evoke extreme reactions from everyone . The film acts on meta level too and it teaches to have your own identity instead of trying to become someone else . The ending will be controversial which might put some people off , though it was the right thing to show . I liked the superstar's part more than the fan's . In fact it might be possible that you will be rooting for the superstar at the end instead of the fan because when you see the film , you realise that Aryan Khanna actually didn't do anything wrong . He really wasn't at fault ! Whatever you think of the movie though , one thing no one can deny is that SRK absolutely bloody nails the acting part . Nobody will/can question his performance in this film . It's the finest performance yet this year and one of his all time best . SRK as Gaurav - 4/5 (He goes a little overboard during the climax and some minor parts) SRK as Aryan Khanna - 10000/5 (He absolutely nails this one . Such a nuanced performance . I , along with many others were cheering for the superstar at the end ). FAN on a whole is a different , unique , engaging and interesting take on the fanatics and the psychology of fans .

Well there was already much hype created for this Shah Rukh Khan starer, but to be very honest I literally did not have any kind of expectations as his previous three movies were disastrous. But this movie was just way beyond awesomeness. I seriously could not still believe that I was watching a Bollywood movie. The action scenes and the VFX were simply awesome. And the way the story was presented is another very positive factor. Shah had always been a good actor but this was his best movie in terms of acting. The climax was the main part of the movie. And throughout , the movie gave me goosebumps. Simply unpredictable stuff.
