If you love watching mad crap comedies, the comedies that don’t have much scope for intelligence then you will be little disappointed because Double Double does have a little intelligence here and there. The story about four guys who are so idiots that you sometimes feel pity for them and will think that how can someone be that idiotic. The movie manages to bring laughter and at so many places, the complete family audience(with whom i saw the movie) is laughing at almost all the scenes/sequences. Especially the scene where Arshad, Ritiesh, Ashish and Jaaved does mimicry of different actors.. it was hilarious. Girls don’t have much to do the movie.. besides looking super sexy and hot.. you will be surprised to see that Kangana was revealing more than Mallika was. Sanjay Dutt is always awesome at comedy. The Gorilla sequence is one of the funniest I have ever seen in Bollywood. The story too have been written intelligently and have interesting twists.
The director treated this movie as one of those Hollywood films who spoof many Hollywood celebrities and movies.. so here you will find all the four guys spoofing our own actors and movies, like Taare Zameen Par, Aamir Khan, SRK, Shatrughan Sinha, Amitabh Bachchan, Barbara Mori etc.
Warning, if you liked Dhamaal, you will surely love Double Dhamaal and if you didn’t like Dhamaal, please don’t even bother to visit theatre.
The movie will surely be a success because it doesn’t have any competition this week.. and the director and produce will bring the third installment soon, as they mentioned at the end…
So, here you have another mad-crap comedy to enjoy with friends and family.
